About This Course
The SAF Route-by-Route Compliance course teaches airlines how to translate multiple SAF, CORSIA, ETS and national/regional requirements into a practical compliance decision for each route. The key idea is that compliance cannot be determined at airline level alone—it depends on the origin, destination, State pair, fuel-uplift location, time period, obligated party and applicable rulebook.
The course provides a structured workflow to identify the applicable regulations, determine who is responsible, confirm whether physical SAF, certificates or other instruments are permitted, calculate the required action and retain the right evidence. It also highlights the need for a route-level compliance register and coordinated input from Regulatory, Fuel Procurement, Sustainability, Finance, Legal and Operations.
