About This Course

This course provides a foundational understanding of how modern application infrastructure has evolved from virtual machines to containers. Participants will explore the principles of virtualisation and containerisation, learn how Linux isolation technologies paved the way for containers, understand Docker's role in transforming application packaging and deployment, and examine key application design patterns, workload suitability, and operating principles in containerised environments.
