About This Course

This is a beginner training module on Antares ALM. This module is designed for sales teams who are starting from scratch and need a simple, practical understanding of Asset Liability Management. At a basic level, ALM helps financial institutions manage the relationship between their assets, liabilities and cashflows. In simple terms, it helps answer whether the institution has enough money at the right time, whether interest-rate movements can hurt profitability, and whether management has the information needed to make better balance-sheet decisions. In this module, we will first understand the basics of ALM, then look at key risks such as liquidity risk and interest-rate risk, and finally learn how to position Antares ALM in client conversations. The goal is not to make you an ALM expert immediately. The goal is to help you explain the problem clearly, ask better discovery questions, and position Antares ALM with confidence.
